The dangerous fire had reached 134 square miles of rugged trees and bushing. With more than 2,500 firemen fighting off the raging flames, they could only manage to contain 5 percent of its damage. Approximately 12,000 homes, as well as popular astronomy and communication centers, were threatened by this California wildfire.

Two Firefighters were killed in a Tragic Accident

Angeles National Forest Fire is of the Most Dangerous of all California Wildfires

There are a number of dangerous California wildfires burning through the Southern and Central area. Although this particular Angeles National forest fire is said to be the most threatening of all. Starting out with more than 31 square miles of dry forest catching fire, it has continued to scorch through all directions, as it reaches dry canyons that tend to be the hardest to control.

The fire was said to be expected to move in a northeastern direction and officials are generating specific recourses near the northern edge of the fire, located near Acton. The new evacuation area has covered approximately 300 homes near Sevenhills Drive, Glory Avenue and Apperson Street. After losing two firefighters through a tragic accident, it hasn’t been an easy time for the fire departments, to say the least. Although, the governor and fire officials are doing all they can, as they come up with as many tactics as possible to contain this raging California wildfire.
